My Spirit Shirt Update
Published: Sun, Nov 13, 2016, 10:17AM CST

Parents, thank you so much for your support of the PTO’s new My Spirit Shirt initiative! All of the students have looked great on their field trips! Feedback from chaperones and teachers has been overwhelmingly positive as it’s so much easier to spot those CCE cuties in a large crowd when they’re all color coordinated! Remember to keep those shirts in good condition all year as they will be worn for any other field trips throughout the year as well as Field Day in May!

Footloose in the Fall Fun Run
Published: Sun, Oct 30, 2016, 12:50PM CDT

We had such fun on Friday! Thank you to all the volunteers who came out and helped cheer, mark bibs, or refresh our little runners. The competition between classrooms is still fierce as everyone hopes to win either a pizza party, ice cream party, or tailgate party—see if you can help ensure your kiddos class is one of the winners!

As the fundraiser wraps up (FINAL DONATIONS ARE DUE ON MONDAY AT NOON to be counted towards prizes), there are two things to be reminded of: 10% of what each classroom raises goes directly back to that classroom. After expenses, the remainder is going towards building a lasting impact on our CCE campus—an outdoor learning pavilion, similar to the one below. When making the decision to support your learner in this Fun Run—please choose to be a part of building something that you can show your child and tell them—“You helped build that!”
